Carl said on his Facebook page:”I’m really looking forward to getting back to Ibiza and to kicking off these special PURE CARL COX IBIZA events with my awesome team from Space Ibiza and the Game Over crew, and boy, have we got some parties lined up for you this year. Starting with two parties at PRIVILEGE IBIZA, I will be bringing my PURE festival vibes from Australia to the Main Room with a full techno and house line up. I cannot wait to rock this club. See you on the dance floor!“
THESE ARE THE FIRST CONFIRMED DATES: July 11th 2017, July 18th 2017!
DGTL will return to the NDSM- Docklands in Amsterdam for the 5th edition on April 14th (Opening Night), 15th & 16th 2017.
The ‘Modularity’ theme is based on the various elements of a modular synthesizer – perhaps the most central instrument in dance music other than a drum computer – like input, filter, frequency and amp. The application of the ‘Modularity’ theme to DGTL Amsterdam 2017 will result in each stage, as well as other relevant points on the NDSM terrain, to have its own characteristics in sound but also design and overall feel.
For instance, the entrance to DGTL Amsterdam 2017 will be renamed ‘Input’, while the first stage that visitors will come across is called ‘Generator’, the place where the festival-goers are powered up before they’re let loose, so to speak. Throughout both days, visitors can expect Max Cooper, HVOB [live], Jan Blomqvist [live],as well as Speedy J and Sterac b2b Konstantin at the Generator. Loaded up and ready, visitors can continue their festival trip down to other stages like ‘Filter’ and ‘Frequency’, where acts such as Agoria, Moscoman [live], Midland and Space Dimension Controller [live] will be performing.
The final destination on the map is the ‘Amp’, where the visitor is unleashed as a plenary sound signal. The Amp will function as the co-host stages – Mosaic By Maceo and Dixon Curated – over the weekend. Finally, there is the ‘Gain’, which is hosted by Resident Advisor on both days, featuring such artists as Jennifer Cardini, Matrixxman, Sandrien and Willow. Those that want to escape the sonic wilderness of the festival can find peace in the ‘Mute’ area.
All these different stages combined form and reinforce the key pillars and values of DGTL, like originality and quality, resulting in a truly immersive festival experience that sends a clear and positive message of innovation and sustainability at the same time.

Ibiza club Space will keep its name in 2017, said Ushuaïa owner Abel Matutes Juan.
A businessman and ex-politician, Matutes Juan is the CEO of Matutes Group, the company that runs venues like Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Club, Hard Rock Ibiza and Space. In 1989, Matutes Group leased Space to local nightclub impresario Pepe Roselló, who ran it up until
December 31st, 2016. Now that the club is back under Matutes Juan’s control, he’s since confirmed that the name will stay the same. “It will certainly open as Space this year,” he told Ibiza TV channel TEFTV on December 21st. (Via Periodico De Ibiza.) “It’s an accredited brand, which does not prevent us from adding another name that will link it with our other establishments.” Later in the interview, Matutes Juan added that no renovations would be made to the venue in 2017

With radio, you are always on the front page.
1) Radio sells everywhere.
Radio is the only true mobile medium. In the car, at work, and at play, radio is there…the companion and the advertising force your customers take with them wherever they go.
2) Radio sells with intimacy.
In your personal life, when you have something very important to communicate to someone, which would you prefer – to show them a picture, to write to them, or to talk with the intimacy and emotion of the human voice?Radio sells with intimacy.
3) Radio stars in the theatre of the mind.
Want a 100-piece symphony orchestra in your ad, an elephant, a chorus, a laughing child, a love song? With word pictures and emotion-evoking sounds, radio’s theatre of the mind stimulates the most emotion-filled pictures the mind can comprehend.
4) Radio escapes advertising’s clutter.
Today’s newspapers average 2/3 ad copy to 1/3 editorial copy. TV spends about 1/3 of its time on advertising. Today’s radio, at about 10 minutes of advertising per hour, devotes less than 1/5 of its time to ads.Radio is the uncluttered medium.
5) Radio is the cost effective medium.
Newspaper rates are up (even though circulation is down). TV ad rates are up (even though viewership is down).Radio advertising costs grew less than any other major form of advertising.
6) Reach is nice, but frequency sells.
Newspaper and TV are reach media – they reach varying numbers of people. Psychologists tell us that consumers need to be exposed to an advertising message at least three times before it begins to penetrate. Most local businesses cannot afford the necessary three-times-plus frequency that effective advertising demands – except on radio. Radio is the reach and frequency medium you can afford.
7) Radio’s targeted advertising sells.
Radio’s variety of formats allows you to pinpoint your advertising on the station or stations that best match your customer’s interests. You cannot pinpoint advertising in the broad-reach, scattershot newspaper and TV media forms. Radio’s unique targeting ability saves you money.
8) You’re always on the front page with radio.
With radio advertising you are front and centre in the listener’s attention span when your ad is on the air. You’re never buried on page 42 and you’re never surrounded by your competitor’s ads. With radio, you are always on the front page.
