For the Luv…
Keef Luv first appeared on the club scene on the Spanish Costa del Sol in the summer of 2010 -playing bass for a Paradise Musik soiree at Cafe del Mar in Tarifa. In 2011, he was let loose as a DJ – warming-up for Paradise Musik events up and down Spain’s Costa del Sol, where he is a resident. Since then, he has enjoyed many musical highlights including warming-up for Jay Lumen at Tibu in Puerto Banus at the 2013 New Years Eve party.
2014 saw him take up a regular slot on Beach Grooves Radio, having suitably impressed fellow DJ Kate Gooding. He started at the Deep House station as a guest DJ on Gooding’s Friday Night Show. Keef Luv now hosts three shows a week as the station continues to garner attention on the airwaves and world wide web. These days Mr Luv can be caught every Monday to Friday on the station from 14:00-16:00 CET for his particular Deep, Funky, Melodic and Bouncy brand of house groove.
A classically trained flautist, accomplished self-taught bassist and a keen synth player, Keef Luv’s first and only true love was music. Mr Luv is also a distinguished producer of Chillout (Antarctica Chill Zone), Funky House (FutureLight) and Tech (Keef Luv). His productions have reached the top of the ReverbNation charts with Slave (Antarctica Chill Zone) and enjoys both a loyal SoundCloud and Mixcloud following.
Keef’s music career kicked-off fresh from college in the mid nineties, which saw him tour Europe with Nu Metal band TwelvePointHead – supporting such acts as Fun Luvin Criminals, The Alabama 3, The Almighty, Motorhead, Hawkwind, Jethro Tull and Rose Tattoo. He followed this up with a solo project Antarctica Chill Zone – crafting minimalist Chillout Music.
